The Israeli military says its air force attacked more than 140 times in the Gaza Strip over the past day, claiming all those hit were “terror targets”.
As we reported earlier, an Israeli naval attack on a seaside internet cafe killed at least 39 people. There were also attacks on sites distributing aid to hungry people.
The army’s Division 36 expanded its ground occupation to additional areas of Gaza, “killing dozens of militants and destroying hundreds of terrorist infrastructures both above and below ground”, it said.
According to the army, its Division 99 forces killed two “militants”, and Division 162 soldiers killed eight more.
It also confirmed that its naval forces “attacked several terrorist targets and militants in the southern Gaza Strip”.
